Change in program

Last-minute programme change: looks like Vaughan Williams and the Mystical Songs will have to wait. Instead Bach was requested, which is just fine by me, as my Bach voice is in a good place at the moment. I think I'll present:

• At the beginning : Betrachte meine Seele from Bach St. John Passion
  
• Before the Gospel : Erleucht auch meine finstre sinnen from Bach Weinachtsoratorium
• At the Offertory : Endlich wird mein Joch from Bach solo cantata BWV56 ich will den Kreutzstab gerne tragen
• At the Communion : Et in spiritum sanctum dominum from Bach Mass in B-minor
• After the Blessing : I go on my way in the strength of the lord / For the mountains shall depart from Elijah of Mendelssohn

Betrachte meine Seele is the only new one (unless I decide to try the Elijah piece in german) but since I'm singing the St. John Passion in this same church on April 2nd, it might be a good chance to try it out. I'll be singing two totally different programmes inside of 18 hours, since our third presentation of the BL!NDMAN KWADRATUR: TRANSFO show happens in Brussels on Saturday evening, and then the artist's mass is the next morning, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem.

The family is good. Maggie is feeling very well, and just got her hair done, which makes her look very young and energetic, and the boys are doing well. We did a little clothes shopping yesterday, and they are well supplied for now. They've got a rock n' roll thing going on these days.
