The concert yesterday afternoon went very well; the choir and orchestra sang and played very beautifully, and any of the little minor hiccups that inevitably happen in an opening night performance were ironed out for the afternoon show, so we all had a wonderful time. Stephanie the conductor seemed very pleased.
I was very lucky to have lots of guests at the performances: my parents, sisters, brother-in-law, aunt and uncle, as well as Bruce, John and Pat McMaster, and Eric and Kareena Wilding. It was great to have supporters there, and the church was completely full, with beautiful afternoon light streaming in the stained glass windows. What a treat to get to sing such lovely music!
Now it's auditions for the next few days, and getting ready to fly back home to Brussels.

Matthew, it's wonderful to read about your performances in Ontario. You really have been lucky to have so many friends and family there to listen to you perform.
And I'm sure Maggie and the boys are going to be overjoyed you can be there with them soon.
Lots of luv, Greta
