This afternoon we have a transfer rehearsal to get used to the space at DeSingel and see that everything that needs adjusting for the stage size gets done ahead of time. In a travelling show like this, it's always important to get a feel for the timing of everything based on the distances that you have to travel, as this vintage clip from The Carol Burnett Show demonstrates.
It's going to be a good show, we had two full runs on Friday and everyone is feeling more confident. There are a number of people fighting illness though, so I hope that everyone has taken the chance to rest yesterday and build up some energy.
